Founder / Integration Instructor
Born at Fort Benning, Georgia, Steve brings nearly 18 years of law enforcement experience to the table, and a remarkable 11 years dedicated to serving as a dog handler. His expertise extends to 10 years on the SWAT team, where he has excelled as a team leader for 5 of those years. Throughout his career, Steve has handled a total of four dogs, including two that were fully integrated into SWAT. He has played a pivotal role in establishing his department's SWAT dog program and is committed to continuously enhancing the capabilities of these animals. Steve holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice.
Bart
Medical Instructor
Bart, a native of Tennessee, has dedicated his life to serving his community through law enforcement. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, he has 26 years as a police officer, 23 of which have been on SWAT. Bart's expertise includes roles as a sniper, tactical medic, and explosive breacher, and he has played a key role in enhancing his agency's medical program, which now requires all officers complete a TECC medical course before graduation. Additionally, he authored one of the first K9 Medical Standard Operating Procedures for law enforcement tactical teams. Outside of his professional commitments, Bart is passionate about disaster relief through a non-profit organization, teaching medical classes, coaching softball, and cherishing time with his family.

Danny
Decoy / Integration Instructor
Meet Danny, a valuable addition to the Righteous Tactics team hailing from Illinois. With 12 years of law enforcement experience, including 4 years on SWAT, he is a certified firearms instructor and an exceptional decoy featured in many of our training videos. Danny has dedicated countless hours to honing his skills, mastering the art of teaching dogs to distinguish between allies and adversaries, and recently began his journey as a new dog handler. In addition to his work with us, he founded The Ranger Project 6:8, a company providing high-quality K9 equipment for handlers in need of durable and functional gear. When not engaged with work, Danny enjoys spending time outdoors with his dogs, and is a bourbon enthusiast. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Safety.
Kelsey
Medical / Integration Instructor
Kelsey, originally from Virginia, brings a decade of law enforcement experience to her role as a respected leader within her agency. She has effectively managed critical incidents, including active shooter situations and mass casualty events, showcasing her ability to bring order to chaos. Kelsey plays a vital role in her department's medical program, ensuring that front-line patrol officers receive ongoing training. As a Team Leader for the Rescue Task Force, she also collaborates closely with both Police and Fire Special Operations. Due to her deep passion for working dogs, it is no surprise she has attended K9 medical schools on her personal time, and often assists SWAT with integrating their canines. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, and camping, and possesses a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology with a focus in Terrorism, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology.


Will
Medical Instructor
Joining the team from Northeast Ohio, Will brings a wealth of experience with 7 years in the military, including service with the Rakkasans C 3-187, a regiment of the 101st Airborne. His deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan saw him excel as both a Team Leader and Squad Leader. With 11 years in law enforcement and 6 years on SWAT, Will is also an operational tactical medic, having graduated valedictorian from his medical class at the Fire Academy. He has further enhanced his skills by attending various K9 medical courses, including U.S. Army K9 TCCC and Veterinarian Tactical Group K9 TCCC.
Braden
Integration Instructor
Braden, originally from Nashville, has dedicated his career to law enforcement since graduating the University of Tennessee in 2010. With over 8 years of experience in K9 operations, he was among the first handlers to integrate his dog into his department's SWAT team. Braden's expertise extends to working dogs certified in both patrol and narcotic detection. In 2022, he achieved national certification as a K9 trainer in patrol and odor detection, showcasing his commitment to excellence in the field. When he's not working, Braden enjoys quality time with his family.


Russell
Integration Instructor
Meet Russell, a dedicated police officer with 9 years of service, including 4 years as a K9 handler. Recently, he earned his place on his agency's SWAT team, and recently became the newest member to fully integrate his canine partner into their operations. Before embarking on his law enforcement career, Russell proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, completing combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. With a passion for working with dogs, he believes they are always speaking to us, and it's up to us to listen. He has a remarkable ability to understand how they think, and why. Outside of work, Russell enjoys exploring musical instruments and delving into military history.
